Since 2003, Magic Scissors Alterations has been a family-owned business in Bradenton, Florida. The Lima family (João, Caelina, Isaac and Ivo) is originally from Fortaleza, Brazil, and moved to Florida in the year 2000.
João works for Sarasota County, while Caelina works full-time at Magic Scissors. Isaac graduated from UCF in 2012 and now works at Mitsubishi Electric in Orlando, Florida. Ivo graduated from Jacksonville University in 2016, and currently still lives in Jacksonville, Florida.

Most basic alterations are ready in a few days. Pants can be hemmed while you wait. Bridal alterations typically take 1–3 weeks depending on the work needed. Bring your dress at least 4 weeks before the wedding when possible.
